Registering on the Forum

Forum Rules

To join the WPS Forum, you must first visit:
You may wish to save this in your 'Favorites' (or the Mac equivalent).

You will be presented with a screen that looks something like this:
Click on the register link under the boxes (don't attempt to fill in the boxes at this stage!). You will be taken to a page that looks like this:
Read the rules, check the box if you agree to abide by the rules, and click . You will be taken to the following panel:

Enter your User Name, Firstname Lastname (we cannot give you access if you dont use this format).
Choose a password (not too obvious!) and type it twice. Enter your email address that will be used for all correspondence, and repeat it as requested. Then type into the box the letters in the image (different each time). This is to ensure that hackers can't flood us with automated registration requests. Then, after completing the Additional Information area (optional), you click on the button. Soon you will receive an email. You click on the link in the email to confirm receipt. Once we have this confirmation., we will give you access to the appropriate sections of the Forum (slightly different if you are a Committee member or a Forum Moderator). Another email tells you that you are a fully enrolled member, and you can start posting.

Logging on after you've joined

Visit: www.windsor-photo-society.org.uk/forum/, as before. You will again see the first panel above, but this time you will complete your username and password. If you tick the 'Remember Me?' box before you click 'Log in', your login will be remember next time you visit (unless you clicked 'Log Out' the time before).

Any open comments or suggestions about the new service can be posted to the section on the WP�Forum dedicated to Club matters, for all members to read, or a Personal Message (PM) can be sent to webmaster@windsor-photo-society.org.uk
